Fruit Hand Pies

Hand pie tasting boxes are going on sale tomorrow at noon, so mark your calendar.

Pick up will be from my home cake studio located in Montlake, September 30, Saturday from 11AM-2PM. I will be waking up early to get them in and out of the oven by 11AM. I’m hoping they will be warm by pickup but I can’t promise. We live in a drafty 100 year old craftsman house so it likes to stay cool.

A little about the pies…I will be using a flaky buttery dough and a sweet shortbread one. Sadly I won’t have any dairy-free offerings this time around. I need to test more before committing, hope you understand.

This summer we jammed cherries, peaches, blueberries, and a mix of stone fruit. The fruit was at their peak so you know the jam will be amazing. Hope you can pick a box up and enjoy with your favorite warm beverage.
